Jennifer M. Wilson
Wilson & Associates Law is led by Jennifer Wilson, an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the State of Florida. Ms. Wilson is a talented litigator who has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 40 trial attorneys under age 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association. She has also been honored with the “Client’s Choice” award, “Excellent Divorce Attorney” award, and “Excellent Child Custody Attorney” award by Avvo, and the “Emory Advocate” award by Emory University School of Law.
Ms. Wilson accredits her success to hard-work, and the years she spent refining her litigation skills by serving as counsel for a Fortune 500 company, and subsequently working for a medium-sized firm handling a variety of family law, criminal defense, workers compensation, and personal injury cases, including premises liability, personal injury protection and general negligence matters.
Ms. Wilson graduated from the University of Florida with dual degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Journalism Reporting and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science; and obtained her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.
Desiree Hemphill is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Ms. Hemphill received her Bachelor of Public Administration and Master of Legal Studies from Texas State University-San Marcos. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in May of 2018.
Ms. Hemphill worked as a Family Law and Estate Planning paralegal in San Marcos, Texas prior to attending law school. During her third year in law school Ms. Hemphill worked as a student attorney serving indigent clients with their Family Law issues.
Ms. Hemphill has a passion for the practice of Family Law and will worked tirelessly to provide her clients with peace of mind that she is on their side during the most difficult time in their lives.
Robert Cross, Of Counsel
Robert Cross is a second generation family law attorney, and has been recognized as an up-and-coming attorney in Dallas County, Collin County, and Denton County. Mr. Cross earned his Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, all while maintaining a successful collegiate football career. When Mr. Cross was not on the grid-iron or in the classroom, he represented the law school in global negotiation competitions and mediated cases throughout Texas. He also worked full-time for international oil companies and law firms wherein he focused on legal negotiations and client advocacy.
Mr. Cross is originally from Plano, Texas and moved back after law school to be closer to family. He has three younger siblings who are currently enrolled in PISD. Since moving back, Mr. Cross’s legal practice has been dedicated to family law. Above all, he focuses his time and attention on divorce, modification, support, temporary restraining orders, and other family law disputes and issues. With experience in legal negotiations and client advocacy, Mr. Cross is helpful and thoughtful and does not lose site of the client’s goals.
When Mr. Cross is not with his family or serving as an advocate for you, you can find Mr. Cross at local events involving legal professionals and serving as an advocate for children. Mr. Cross is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Collin County Bar Association, and Collin County Young Lawyers Association. Mr. Cross is also a member of the Dallas Leadership Class and is a founding member of the Lawyers Serving Children board, both in association with the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
